Sorry for the light posting the last few days. With winter break ending and the new semester beginning, I’m trying to set aside some time when I can write more often than what I did in the fall.

Anyways, the point of this post is to give props to a book I’m reading — The Argument by Matt Bai. The book takes you inside the Democratic Party from about 2002 to 2007. It shows how different factions of the party struggle to take control following another heartbreaking loss in 2004. Billionaires seeking to ensconce their views within the party by financing activism are juxtaposed with blogger-activists, who seek to wrest control of the party from people who they see as too invested in the status quo to pursue progressive policies.

For those looking for an informative, political, but quick and easy read, try The Argument.
